We had a yummy 4th of July dinner at our friends the Fillmores. They have 4 girls and we have 4 boys and us adults know each other from back in Milwaukee. As life would have it-we both ended up in Spokane in the same ward. (until our stake split and then we moved). 
We did a few simple fireworks...smoke bombs, snakes, sparklers....
