Rylan had a clever idea for his Pinewood Derby car this year.....
a Nutter Butter!
Didn't he do a great job painting the lines? Our friend helped Rylan cut it out. He even helped put the groove in to mimic the cookie filling. That was Craig's idea. (Don't mind his stand from last year)
Now, just to let you know last year Rylan's car did HORRIBLE. Truely it did. I don't think the car won a single heat. But THIS year....He won it all. He got first place! What a way to end his Pinewood derby career.
Since he qualified to go to the district pinewood derby I took him. We never did that with Hudson, but Rylan wanted to try. Wow-those cars were fast. Rylan placed 84th out of 93.

That is such a cool car-and even more impressive that it won! Way to go Rylan :)
