Boom, Crash, Bang!

Back on the morning of May 14th I got a call from the school.  The secratary told me Rylan had hurt himself, is nauseous, and looks gray.  I immediately went over to the school.  Sure enough there was Rylan laying in the nurses' room with a blanket on him, ice on his wrist, and looking very pale.  I of course knew it was either sprained or broken.

We sat at an urgent care for 2 hours to confirm he broke his radius and he got a temporary cast.
How did he do it you ask? He was playing freeze tag during morning recess. He was running full speed toward a kid to unfreeze him. He had his arm outstreached and ran it into the kids chest. Immediately he felt the pain and fell to the ground holding his arm. Yup...even the doctor couldn't believe just that broke his arm..

So Rylan excitedly picked an orange cast and has to wear it for 5 weeks.  So we are trying to look on the bright side and tell him he can swim and play and be free for the whole summer.  He just has to wear it for the rest of the school year.
